GreenWood Forest Park today announced that it has been recognised as a winner in the 2016 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice™ awards for Amusement Parks in the UK, ranking eighth out of 10.
TripAdvisor determined the winners using an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings for amusement parks worldwide, gathered over a 12-month period.
The park, which boasts the world’s only people powered roller coaster along with the world’s only solar powered water ride, is also the only attraction in the whole of Wales to be included in the list.
Mark Rowlands, Visitor Services Manager at GreenWood Forest Park, said: “We are over the moon to say the least! To be voted 8th place throughout the UK is a fantastic achievement. Our aim is to provide great value family fun, coupled with excellent customer care. As we are continually working to improve our visitor experience, customer feedback is always appreciated.
“This award is great testimony to the very hard work and great efforts of the GreenWood Team as a whole,” Mark continued.
With the school holidays just around the corner, the Park is looking forward to a programme full of summer events; daily shows in their Forest Theatre, Donkey Rides, unique crafts, face painting, and a few extra surprises.
