Shoppers at Bangor will soon be able to purchase locally made pottery and unique mugs and have a go at throwing their own pot, at a new pop up shop in Bangor.

Tyddyn Môn, a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities will be selling a range of goods made on their farm near Amlwch, and will also bringing along their potter’s wheel.

The shop based in the Deiniol Centre in Bangor will be officially opened by Gareth Wyn Jones at 10am on Saturday, December 5. Gareth has been seen on TV in The Hill Farm and The Farmer and the Food Chain and is the author of the bestselling book The Hill Farmer.

Michelle Freeman, CEO of Tyddyn Môn said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Gareth to the pop up shop and hope as many people as possible can join us for the official opening.

“We are very grateful to Kate Jones from the Deiniol Shopping Centre for supporting our charity and giving us this opportunity to host a pop up shop in the weeks before Christmas.”
