There will be a relaxed performance of David Walliams' Gangsta Granny at Venue Cymru in April.

Venue Cymru are thrilled to be offering another Relaxed Performance to their patrons.

Following on from the success of their very special pantomime performance, they have worked closely with the Birmingham Stage Company to offer the same theatrical experience for the stage adaptation of David Walliams’ Gangsta Granny.

A relaxed performance offers a supportive experience, welcoming children and adults with special needs (including Autistic Spectrum Conditions and/or learning disabilities) and, crucially, their families to the theatre to a performance where those needs are accounted for with a more relaxed atmosphere.

Noise and movement is openly accepted in the auditorium and, adaptations are cleverly made to the production itself which includes the lowering of lights and reduction of sudden or loud sounds from the show.

Those who are able to join Venue Cymru for this exciting show will be sent a booklet prior to their visit to Venue Cymru to help prepare for their trip. It will explain the story, the facilities at Venue Cymru and what and who to expect to see at the theatre.

The relaxed performance of Gangsta Granny will take place on Sunday, April 24 at 11am and tickets can be purchased for the discounted rate of £10 per person. Tickets are available via our Box Office on 01492 872000 or via the website on www.venuecymru.co.uk

Richard Jones, Marketing Manager says he is “thrilled to be offering another relaxed performance in our busy programme”

Gangsta Granny will be at Venue Cymru from Friday, April 22 – Sunday, April 24.
