A range of activities will be held at Noddfa Community Centre, Caernarfon on Friday, February 27, 2015, between 10am and 3pm to encourage residents to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Communities First Gwynedd have organised a Health Bonanza to give residents access to advice, information & activities on health including a visit from S4C’s keep-fit champion ‘Heini,’ who will show the kids, and parents, a fun way to keep fit.
A number of local agencies have signed up to the event, and together will be able to offer guidance on subjects from giving up smoking, enjoying a better diet & where to get tasty healthy food, dental advice and information from the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, as well as many other agencies
A qualified Boxercise & Pilates instructor will be on hand so that people can have a quick (or longer) taster of these activities and register for free regular classes.
Age Cymru will be there to advise older people on how they can live healthier lives with free over 50’s Health Checks available on the day.
The local Energy Warden will also be on hand during the day to advice people how to reduce their energy bills in order to stay warm over the winter months – an important part of keeping healthy.
Those attending the Bonanza can also try their hand at sports & fitness games on a tv screen from 3:30pm onwards.
