Digital experts Livetech achieve global Google honour

A digital creative agency from North Wales has achieved a rare honour from internet giant Google.

Llandudno-based Livetech is celebrating after becoming one of only 5,000 official full Google Partners world-wide – and the only one in Conwy, Gwynedd, Anglesey or Denbighshire.

To qualify Livetech had to demonstrate excellent customer service and managing director Paul Levy had to sit a series of tough exams.

As a result, Livetech’s online experts are now certified to manage AdWord accounts and are permitted to use the Google branding in their own marketing materials.

According to Mr Levy, the coveted accreditation will help them stand out from the crowd and give peace of mind to existing and potential new clients.

Google’s Partner Program will also give Livetech access to additional services, products, and information to assist them in providing the “best possible service” to their customers.

Mr Levy, an engineering graduate, founded the company nearly 16 years ago, having previously worked in the aerospace industry and as a teacher.

Last year the company moved into prestigious town centre offices in Llandudno, formerly the North Wales headquarters of the National Trust in Trinity Square.

The move is part of ambitious expansion plans for Livetech and Mr Levy is aiming to recruit 10 more staff.

He said: “We’re really thrilled to be awarded the Google Partner status, it is a fantastic honour to have this official endorsement from Google which will help us really stand out from the crowd.

“There are only 5,000 Full Google Partners in the whole world with three billion web users – that means Livetech are literally almost one in a million!
