Birthday discs will be handed out to the first 10 visitors to GreenWood Forest Park on May 24.

ON Sunday,  May 24, 2015, it will be 22 years since GreenWood Forest Park opened its doors to the public.

In the past 22 years the company has grown considerably and is now well known as North Wales leading family attraction, welcoming thousands of visitors each year.

To celebrate this great occasion GreenWood will be offering a FREE unique wooden engraved Birthday disc to the first 10 visitors on Sunday, May 24.

These unique discs will be created by their resident pyrography artist Nader who has a stall at the Park throughout the school holidays.

GreenWood’s Marketing and Events Director Andrea Bristow had this to say about the anniversary: “Twenty two years seem a long time- a bit like bringing up a child, who has become semi- -independent.

“Many happy memories have been created for many thousands of families. Staff have worked here, who came when they were little. Others have given a big part of their working lives to GreenWood.

“Hard to believe that it all started with a site with no road, water or electricity. I feel quite sentimental thinking about it all”

Throughout the week of Whitsun GreenWood will continue the celebrations with special events including; Circus Workshops, May Pole dancing with Helen, Daily shows in the Forest Theatre, Donkey Rides and much more.

Why not go along and help GreenWood celebrate 22 years of family fun!
