GreenWood Forest Park, Y Felinheli opened its doors for the season back in March.

The Park works closely with many charities in the area and it decided that £1 from each child ticket sold over their opening weekend would be donated to Ty Gobaith Children’s charity.

The weekend was a success and the Park was happy to pass over a cheque to the charity for £215.

Ty Gobaith representative Katrina Lawson said this “We are so grateful to GreenWood Forest Park for supporting the only children’s hospice in North Wales on their opening weekend.

“All the money raised will benefit local life limited children as well as our trauma counselling in the community.  The support from local businesses like GreenWood is vital to the survival of Ty Gobaith.”

Ty Gobaith provide much needed specialist nursing care and support to life-limited children, young people and young adults from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.

The Park is now open daily until 1st November 10am -5:30pm. For more information call  the 24 hour info line on 01248 670076 or visit the website
