A North Wales-based craft brewery is set to welcome business figures on an exclusive site visit and tasting event.

The Wild Horse Brewery, Llandudno, is hosting the event in association with the Institute of Directors (IoD) North Wales, where visitors will have the chance to see how the brewery handcrafts all of its beer.

Established in 2015, Wild Horse ensures its ales are brewed naturally without a filter or pasteurisation process. All beverages are bottled on site and only water from nearby Snowdonia is used within the locally sourced ingredients.

Some of the brewery’s well-known beers include Buckskin Blonde, Palomino Pale Ale and Dark Bay Porter.

The event will begin with a tour of the brewery and a presentation on their natural brewing before a beer-tasting session with a buffet and networking.

Helen Watson, chair of IoD North Wales, said: “This event is a brilliant networking opportunity in fascinating surroundings.

“Having opened just last year, the brewery has made remarkable progress and we’re pleased to be able to invite business people from across the region to find out how they have achieved their success.

“For many it will be the first opportunity for members to meet following the summer, with non-members always welcome to join us on what should be another popular IoD outing.”

The event is on Thursday September 8, from 6pm to 8pm. Tickets cost £15 for members or £20 for non members, and are available from www.iod.com/wales or calling 02920 389990.

The IoD is the longest-standing organisation to serve and support business leaders, with more than 100 years’ service in raising professional standards.
