Strictly Come Dancing star Robin Windsor will be swapping the Paso Doble for pantomime this Christmas as he appears as The Man in the Mirror in Venue Cymru’s spectacular Christmas pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

He’ll be bringing his own brand of fleeting fancy footwork to the stage and starring alongside Llandudno favourite John Evans as Muddles.

Having started dancing aged three, professional Latin and Ballroom dancer Robin is best-known for his appearances in the popular BBC series Strictly Come Dancing having appeared on the show since 2010. Robin quickly won legions of fans for his dance and personality and was paired with Patsy Kensit, Anita Dobson, Lisa Riley, Sarah Cox and Deborah Meaden on television and subsequent live tours. He also won the Children in Need Strictly Special dancing with Susannah Reid.

From 2010 Robin also spent seven years as cast member on the much-loved ballroom-based production Burn the Floor, on Broadway in 2010 – a show he went on to headline in the West End in 2013 alongside his professional dance partner Kristina Rihanoff.

The pair recently toured the UK this summer in a production of Puttin’ on the Ritz in a celebration of the last 50 years of the golden age of Hollywood dance.

Venue Cymru audiences will be able to get their weekly Robin fix ahead of his Christmas appearance as he can be currently seen with Zoe Ball in the series of It Takes Two on BBC2 as he goes behind the scenes with the stars of Strictly Come Dancing and offers his expert dance knowledge.

Michael Harrison, managing director of Qdos Entertainment’s pantomime division and executive producer of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, said: “We are delighted that Robin will lead the cast of this year’s Venue Cymru pantomime. Guaranteed to be another action-packed and must-see Christmas show, the production will feature comedy, fabulous scenery, and outrageous costumes and, some surprises galore along the way!”

Richard Jones, marketing manager for Venue Cymru said: “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is doing exceptionally well at the box office and patrons are booking far more in advance in order to get up close and personal to all the action. Robin is heading a superb cast and this panto is sure to be the must see event this Christmas-time, panto fans should definitely book quickly”.

Staged by the same team behind last year’s record-breaking production of Cinderella and presented by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s largest pantomime producer, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will have Venue Cymru’s hallmark of value-for-money and outstanding entertainment for all ages.
