Menai Feast is a new event that launches on Friday, 17th July, at the Wood Street car park in Menai Bridge. With over ten specialist street-food vendors, and a mobile bar from 5pm to 11.30pm, it is hoped that this relaxed, friendly and social event will become a weekly occurrence.

“We hope to build on the success of the Menai Seafood Festival and the inaugural Food Slam event last week. Menai Bridge has become an exciting venue for eating, dining and entertainment,” said Adrian Clarke, proprietor of Anglesey Hog Roasts and event coordinator.

A wide variety of vendors will allow customers to try different foods and relax in town surrounded by a street vibe and a lively al fresco atmosphere. A mobile bar, supplied by Dazzling Bars, will offer a range of drinks to suit, including a variety of locally sourced beers.

“Entry to Menai Feast is free, and it is hoped it will attract visitors and locals to enjoy a family feast or a snack with friends before moving on to the other establishments in Menai Bridge later in the evening,” says Adrian.

It is hoped to make this a weekly event during the summer months, dependent on support, feedback and visitors’ reviews. Confirmed vendors to date are: Anglesey Hog Roasts, Chuckwagon BBQ, Ace Lolly, Espresso Eccellente, Johnny’s Dough Pizzas, the Marram Grass Cafe, Bocca, Harri’s Portuguese Kitchen, Menai Tandoori, The Wooden Spoon and Dazzling Bars.
